Giovanni Alessandro Morter - Body Landscapes

In this recent project, the artist turns to the body as landscape, closely observing and mapping its contours through intimate photographic studies. The images are soft, grainy, and blurred, evoking a dream-like quality that mirrors the tactile nature of skin.

Through this approach, the work invites a quiet contemplation of form, emphasising the gentle textures and curves of the body while dissolving the boundaries between subject and surface. It is an exploration of presence, vulnerability, and the sensual terrain we inhabit.
