‘Hollywood’ is the result of an urge to visually reconnect with home after years abroad. The title references an old nickname for the neighbourhood in Malmö where I live and where most of the photographs are taken. My general interest lies in how visual elements can be organised and relate to one another within the frame, and how this organisation is affected by one’s sense of place.

Andreas Bruhn is a teacher and freelance photographer from Sweden. Andreas works primarily works in black-and-white darkroom and is particularly fascinated by the process of making silver gelatin prints.
