Kleopatra Moursela - ‘Juncture’

“I am a visual artist living in Athens and I teach artistic practice at the Athens School of Fine Arts. My own artistic practice involves experimentation with photography, installations and with various media. I’m particularly interested in the deconstruction and reconstruction of form and space.

My latest project evokes post-modernist naturalism, using simple colours and shapes to evoke a primal and primary visual language. I love to use subtle colour shades and thin transitions to elicit a musicality and unity within the work.  I’m fascinated with geometric patternings, and I use these structures as a visual frame to capture and perceive world around me.”
